TURP Loop

In TURP Process, An Electrical Loop cuts away excess prostate tissue to improve Urine Flow. This Electrical Loop called as TURP Loop. Bipolar Cutting Loop is used to remove prostate tissue in the form of small chips during TURP surgery for treatment of BPH.

Types of TURP Loop :-

• Monopolar – Single / Double Stem (24 Fr)
• Bipolar – Single / Double Stem (24 Fr)

TURP Loop Variants:-

• Cutting Loop (U shape) : Remove Prostate Tissue in the form of small chips.
• Cold Knife : Make incisions of Ureteral Stenosis for upper Urinary Tract obstruction.
• Collin’s Knife : Make straight incisions in very hard Prostate Tissue.
• Roller Electrode (3 mm / 5 mm) : Vaporize the Prostate Tissue using high power.
• Ball Electrode 3mm : Coagulate and smoothen the freshly resected surface of the Prostate Gland.
• Ball Electrode 5mm : Used when the surface to be coagulated is Large.
